Microsoft Select Agreement for DOE

Introduction

The Select Agreement is a purchasing vehicle for Microsoft software products that will generally give the Department the best available academic prices.

The "Microsoft Software & Licenses" Ordering Instructions has been posted to the DOE Mandatory Price List in Lotus Notes

DOE PL E10-19 Price List Computer License Purchasing:
To order required licenses for each DOE PL E10-19 Price List computer:

1. Go to the Lotus Notes DOE Mandatory Price List for "Microsoft Software & Licenses". 
   
2. Follow the ordering instructions called "Microsoft Software and Licenses Order Instructions.dpf".
   
3. Request a quote and purchase from En Pointe the following pair of Microsoft Licenses for each DOE PL E10-19 Price List computer ordered.  Quantity of each should be equivalent to the total number of computers being purchased.

   Part# FQC-06479     Windows Pro 8 ALNG
   
   (NOTE: Microsoft only sells the current license versions which are Microsoft Office Standard 2013 and Windows 8 Pro.  By terms of the Microsoft Select contract we are able to install older versions through as high as the version of the Microsoft License which you purchased.  The DOE PL E10-19 Price List computers will come installed with Windows XP Pro and Office 2007 Standard.   With this purchase you will be licensed to upgrade this set of computers up to Office Standard 2013 Standard and Windows 8 Pro.)
