The Performance Management Section works with school level, complex area and state level supervisors, administrators and other stakeholders to develop, implement, continually evaluate, and revise for on-going program improvement, a comprehensive employee performance system for all employees of the Department of Education. What is Performance Management?
Why do Performance Evaluations?
This site provides access to the Department's current performance evaluation tools, resources and information regarding employee performance for all employees of the Department of Education. There are seven (7) performance evaluation tools used in the Department. Including three (3) profiles of effectiveness: (1) teacher; (2) school leader; and (3) educational officer. The Performance Management Section also administers the School Community Council Surveys. NOTE: The Hawaii State Department of Education provides resources in various file formats that may require additional software, streaming or download.
