The Department of Education determines the requirements and standards for certification as a school level administrator in the State of Hawaii. Certification is an acknowledgement that an individual has successfully met the designated requirements and achieved acceptable levels of competency to be considered for employment as an educational officer in our State.

Note: For any vacancy announcements open from July 1, 2010 and beyond; applicants for Educational Officer positions must use the Personnel Form 103X dated 12/09. The Education Officer Recruitment Office will not process any outdated application forms (dated prior to December 2009) for any vacancies open from July 1, 2010 and beyond.
