The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) offers individuals on Oahu, age 55 years or older, volunteer opportunities to serve a minimum of 4 hours weekly*.

Volunteers interested in serving DOE schools receive a 3 hour orientation before their placement as well as a number of other benefits including free supplemental insurance coverage. We require a TB clearance and we perform a criminal background check on potential volunteers. If interested in enriching your' own life and in special ways you can serve children, call 586-5191.

*Hours include travel time and RSVPpartners with different nonprofit and public organizations. You have many choices!! You can choose from a variety of different volunteer opportunities and placements.

RSVP has placed volunteers in DOE for 35 years.
