This tool is available to every Hawaii public middle/intermediate and high school student as well as school counselors, administrators, parents, and community members. Using this full-service online college and career guidance system, you can ensure students are actively thinking about, exploring, and planning their college and career strategies. Here is a small sampling of what is available in ECOS:

  • Assessments to help students find the right college, with detailed information on more than 5,000 colleges

  • Profiles on the most popular careers, tools to help students secure winning jobs, and access to the trade organizations and top employers

  • An extensive scholarship search complete with financial resources to help students and their parents understand the complex world of financial aid

  • SAT & ACT test taking techniques and practice tests

  • Career assessments to help students plan their high school, college, and career strategies

  • Tools to help counselors guide and assess their students throughout the post-secondary planning process

ECOS is the most comprehensive information and planning resource available and has been provided to our community by the Department of Education-Office of Curriculum, Instruction, and Student Support. See your school ECOS coordinator for further information and codes.

 

How do I access ECOS?

  1. See your ECOS school coordinator for a UserID and password. (Your school may require you to complete an Acceptable Use Policy "AUP" form first.), then...

  2. Use any internet-capable computer to visit the ECOS web site at:
